Richard Linton is the founder and CEO of VLCM. When Rich started the business back in 1983, he had little money but a lot of ambition. It was in 1982 that IBM rolled out the world’s first-ever personal computer, and immediately afterward, they began looking for qualified dealers to sell and service their exciting new product. Out of three-hundred applications, Rich Linton and his crew were chosen as one of only three dealers in the state of Utah. From these beginnings, Rich has kept his company adapting and growing in the rapidly-changing world of information technologies.
Along with his business responsibilities, Rich is active in his community and church. He loves being with his children and 10 grandchildren, he enjoys playing tennis, bicycling with his wife, rock climbing, and ice climbing.
